What is your concept? (Be thorough & specific. Review the links on Blackboard) 

Our concept is to make a magazine that highlights athletes that are underrated and unknown. Our whole idea is to help these athletes that need to get the attention to go to the next level by attracting scouts for the athletes. There is a lot of D1 talent at schools but just because of where they are located, or the reputation of the school could affect the athlete from getting noticed. 

How did you conceive the idea for this concept? 

From experience of football and having friends that had the talent to go D1 but just couldn’t get the scouts to our school. I feel it was unfair to them and that this could be a solution to help many other athletes that have similar problems. 

What do you believe is unique about your concept? 

I haven't seen any other magazine company do something like this. They usually only do College and Pro-Athletes. Rivals do something similar but to be looked at you must be known. Our magazine will help the unknown. 

Why do you believe this product will be of interest to your audience? 

Because there are a lot of high school athletes grinding to try to be looked at by any D1 college. They would do anything or trying anything to get recognized.

Title Sequence Clips      I think the opening sequence of a film is the most important part of the film. It can grab  the  audience's attention  and can give them certain emotions before the  film  has started.    The opening sequence can help foreshadow of future events that will later occur in the film. Or it can help the audience understand  characters and the plot easier.            In the movie “Scream”  I liked the BIG red letters that had screaming in the background while  displaying “ Scream”. Peer Review

       After presenting my magazine project to the class I was greeted with a bunch of positive comments. My peers said that they liked the color and shadows that were on my magazine. They liked how I would put shadows on images to make them pop out more. They suggested that I fix a few things to make my magazine better which was great because I love suggestions. They suggested that on my content page I would make it go straight down because the zig-zag style on my content title was a little confusing at first glance. My teacher said that I should put the coach interview on page 4 instead of page 3 to make it more organized. An idea for me to change the design on my "About the Athlete" page to make it stand out more and more appealing to the eye. A student suggested that I contrast the colors a bit to add more of an effect.
