Creativity & Genre

     My experience of creating my storyboard was very fun and exciting. It taught me to how properly format a magazine correctly and increased my abilities to design. The magazine is like Sports Illustrated showing off the best athletes that made the best highlights of that month. But ours is a little different, we are showing off the best high school athletes. Our concept of our magazine is to get underrated high school athletes to get recognized by scouts and coaches across the nation. There are many of D1 talent all over the nation but have a hard time getting recognized.  

Since my accomplice and I both play sports and have a tremendous enthusiasm to play at the following level. We thought of completing a games magazine that would assist underestimated players with getting seen by school scouts. The cover sheet of the magazine will have the cover competitor with the huge strong title over their head. It will likewise have little data around the competitor, for example, scores of nearby games in the region. An image of the competitor should take up most of the screen. An inquiry will be at the base that would connect with the player.  

 The setting page is simply going to have what the magazine needs to bring to the table. It will likewise have photos of the competitor around the page. A rundown of pages will be in the magazine. Counting an "About Each Page" segment that will clarify a tad about each page.  

 The third page will have the most data. It will have various photos of the competitor and his/her details. It will have a short clarification of how the competitor got into sports. I will incorporate additional data like the camps the competitor joined in and individual records. A mentor note about the player will be at the base right depicting the great characteristics of the player.

Title Sequence Clips      I think the opening sequence of a film is the most important part of the film. It can grab  the  audience's attention  and can give them certain emotions before the  film  has started.    The opening sequence can help foreshadow of future events that will later occur in the film. Or it can help the audience understand  characters and the plot easier.            In the movie “Scream”  I liked the BIG red letters that had screaming in the background while  displaying “ Scream”. Peer Review

       After presenting my magazine project to the class I was greeted with a bunch of positive comments. My peers said that they liked the color and shadows that were on my magazine. They liked how I would put shadows on images to make them pop out more. They suggested that I fix a few things to make my magazine better which was great because I love suggestions. They suggested that on my content page I would make it go straight down because the zig-zag style on my content title was a little confusing at first glance. My teacher said that I should put the coach interview on page 4 instead of page 3 to make it more organized. An idea for me to change the design on my "About the Athlete" page to make it stand out more and more appealing to the eye. A student suggested that I contrast the colors a bit to add more of an effect.
